I’m Rachel, an experienced arts professional with more than 20 years of experience working in the arts and culture sector in Northern Ireland with expertise spanning cultural regeneration, event and festival programming and delivery, community engagement, venue management, fundraising, strategy and charitable governance.
In March 2025 I worked my final month as an employee, and took the leap into self-employment for the first time in my life.

Why Grasshopper? Among Native American tribes, grasshoppers are seen as symbols of intuition and spiritual guidance. They are a talisman to encourage people to trust their intuition and take leaps of faith - a grasshopper can leap more than 20 times its own height. Just as a grasshopper relies on its instincts to navigate its environment, we are encouraged to listen to our inner voice when making decisions.
Founding Grasshopper Creative Productions was a leap of faith based on a strong intuitive belief that I have the skills, knowledge and expertise to support clients to bring their creative vision to life.
